Gray and Pure White Backgrounds

Gray Backgrounds

While the traditional and very versatile White Backgrounds continue to be popular, Gray Backgrounds in varying shades and treatments are now equally popular.    So what does that leave out?  The traditional "studio-style" painted backgrounds have been relegated to back of the line, for professional headshots.  They do still have a place as a very formal background and in Executive Portraits/Headshots, however.

Gray, like white, keeps the focus on the model and doesn't distract.

White Backgrounds

Because of the versatility of a headshot on white, we are still seeing a strong demand for images with pure white backgrounds.  These are fresh looking professional portraits, and look great on websites and business cards, especially those that have white backgrounds.

It's important to note that we always insure a 100% White background.  This is something that is very difficult for non-professionals to achieve.  "Almost white" becomes painfully obvious when displaying the image on a website, business card or advertising piece with a white background.
